WGN’s “Outsiders” season 2 to air Jan 24,2017

Outsiders is an American television drama series created by Peter Mattei. Set in the fictional town of Blackburg, Crockett County, Kentucky, the series tells the story of the Farrell clan and their struggle for power and control in the hills of Appalachia. It is WGN America’s third original series, which debuted on January 26, 2016. On March 11, 2016, WGN America renewed Outsiders for a second season and will air January 24, 2017.

Outsiders Season 2 Cast and Plot

On the mountain, G’Winn Farrell (Gillian Alexy) has assumed leadership of a fractured clan as Asa (Joe Anderson), Hasil (Kyle Gallner) and Lil Foster (Ryan Hurst) stray from the pack, headed for separate collision courses with a civilization the latter two don’t quite understand. Additionally, the town’s embattled lawman Wade Houghton (Thomas M. Wright) continues to be at the center of the community conflict, overwhelmed by his desire to follow the law and his own personal addiction demons.
